A child's first step into full-time education is very important and it must be a positive and happy experience. Our aim at St Aidan's is to provide a calm, happy and secure environment which is also stimulating, challenging and exciting.

Your child will gain in confidence and initiative, work hard, learn to think independently and experience the satisfaction which comes from their own achievements and successes.  Our dedicated and professional teaching staff are committed to developing the best that is in every child.

We have developed this web site to provide information for parents considering St Aidan's for their child's education and to provide a wealth of useful information and resources for parents of children already with us.

Headlines Of The Week

Website and Communication:

You will receive a separate letter about this. Very soon we are launching a new website and app. At present, however, we have no text system. We will put any news on our website.

Christmas Fayre:
The PTA did a fantastic job of organising our Christmas Fayre and with fantastic support from staff, parents and children we raised over £2,000.
Christmas Jumper Day:
On Friday the 14th of December children can wear Christmas jumpers and non school uniform on the bottom half! Christmas jumpers can be very expensive so please feel free to decorate t-shirts or jumpers. We are asking for donations of toiletries such as shower gels, shampoos etc which will then be given to Hope’s Big Give.
Our Nursery Nativity will take place on Tuesday the 11th of December at 9.15am. The Infant children will perform their Nativity on Wednesday the 12th of December at 2pm and then again on Thursday the 13th of December at 2pm.
St Aidan’s Christmas Tree Festival:
Our Performing Arts Team will be singing in Church on Friday the 14th of December at 10.30am. You are more than welcome to join us. Performing Arts children have then been invited to sing in Church on Saturday the 15th of December from 12.30pm. We believe Church will be offering afternoon tea to those attending.
Singing at Asda:
Year 6 have been invited to sing at Asda in St Helens on Thursday the 13th of December. They will sing between 10am and 11.30am. All money raised will go to school fund. It would be lovely to see you there!

Staying Safe:

We have a 2 children in our School who have a severe nut allergy. Please click on the link below for more details. Please do not send in nuts for your child’s snack or lunch.
