Headlines Of The Week Print E-mail

Website and Communication:

You will receive a separate letter about this. Very soon we are launching a new website and app. At present, however, we have no text system. We will put any news on our website.

Christmas Fayre:
The PTA did a fantastic job of organising our Christmas Fayre and with fantastic support from staff, parents and children we raised over £2,000.
Christmas Jumper Day:
On Friday the 14th of December children can wear Christmas jumpers and non school uniform on the bottom half! Christmas jumpers can be very expensive so please feel free to decorate t-shirts or jumpers. We are asking for donations of toiletries such as shower gels, shampoos etc which will then be given to Hope’s Big Give.
Our Nursery Nativity will take place on Tuesday the 11th of December at 9.15am. The Infant children will perform their Nativity on Wednesday the 12th of December at 2pm and then again on Thursday the 13th of December at 2pm.
St Aidan’s Christmas Tree Festival:
Our Performing Arts Team will be singing in Church on Friday the 14th of December at 10.30am. You are more than welcome to join us. Performing Arts children have then been invited to sing in Church on Saturday the 15th of December from 12.30pm. We believe Church will be offering afternoon tea to those attending.
Singing at Asda:
Year 6 have been invited to sing at Asda in St Helens on Thursday the 13th of December. They will sing between 10am and 11.30am. All money raised will go to school fund. It would be lovely to see you there!

Staying Safe:

We have a 2 children in our School who have a severe nut allergy. Please click on the link below for more details. Please do not send in nuts for your child’s snack or lunch.

Non School Uniform Day Print E-mail

This will take place on Friday 21st  May. Children will be asked to donate prizes. The prizes will all go towards our Summer Fayre which will take place on 10th July 12 ~ 3pm.

Nursery & Reception  ~ Bottles

Y1 & Y2                         ~ Chocolate/Sweets (suitable for small prizes).

Y3 & Y4                         ~ Bottles

Y5 & Y6                         ~ Tombola Prizes

We are really short of TOMBOLA Prizes. If anyone other than Y5/Y6 has any they do not require, we would be most grateful for them.

We are also having a Teddy / Soft-Toy Tombola
If anyone has any unwanted teddies or soft-toys that are in new or excellent condition, could they please send them into school.

First Aid Print E-mail

We have introduced a new system. If your child has an injury they will be seen by a first aider who will treat the injury, then give your child a sticker showing that they have received first aid. Please look out for these. Obviously, if your child has a bang to the head or other serious injury we will contact you, or ask to see you after school to sign the accident book.
