Morning Year 4!

Today we will continue reading the book ‘World’s Worst Children 2’ written by David Walliams. We are going to read about a boy called Harry, who never ever did his homework! Begin by reading through the English PowerPoint below, which contains a link to an audio version of the story for those who do not have a copy of the book. Next, read through the PowerPoint about how to write a balanced argument. Your task today is to debate whether children should be given homework. You will need to create two arguments/debates. The first, stating reasons why children should be given homework and the second, why children should not be given homework. Please use the activity sheets provided.

In Maths we are continuing with the White Rose Maths unit on statistics. Work through the PowerPoint and then complete the worksheet. I have also included the answer sheet.

We are continuing with our RE Unit 4.4 - Exploring Easter as a story of betrayal and trust. Today we will be focusing on trust and betrayal. Begin by looking at the RE PowerPoint. Next read through the PowerPoint which tells the Easter story. Using the RE activity sheet, your task is to underline evidence of trust and betrayal within the Easter story.

Have a great weekend and stay safe. Looking forward to seeing you all back at school next Friday.
