Good morning, Year 5! Please find attached some work to complete today (Wednesday).

English: You will find some work based around the story Butterflies by Kevin Crossley-Holland.

Maths: After using this link (Decimals up to 2 decimal places tutorial video - you should be looking at lesson 1) that teaches how to read decimal numbers up to 2 decimal places, there is a question sheet to have a crack at further down this page. The video teaches a bit, then pauses, so you can have a go at a few questions at a time. The answers are included separately.

RE: There is a PowerPoint presentation on Jesus as a healer and a related worksheet to complete - please only complete one of the two sheets.

ALSO: Everybody should have taken home a copy of Stay Where You Are and Then Leave by John Boyne. This is our home reader book. The Audible audiobook is not available for a couple of months so I'm going to be reading it myself in a super, sparkling, well-professional Crosby-esque version. I'll aim for a chapter or a few pages every day and will include the occasional related question sheet. The videos will be uploaded to the St. Aidan's YouTube channel. Chapter 1 will be uploaded by the end of today. Don't be expecting anything too professional, mind (and apologies in advance for reading mistakes and very, VERY dodgy accents!). Hope you enjoy.

Keep working hard and STAY INDOORS as much as you can.

Mr Crosby.
