Today's activities are listed below - if you wish to use them. Activities from all other days are still available if you want to refer back to them or complete any that you may have missed.

There are many other activities avaliable in Daily Timetable Ideas and Home Learning/School Closure sections of the website if you wish to use those as well as or instead of these.

OR you can follow this link to complete the daily activites on the BBC Bitesize for a timetabled day of activities. 1. A reading activity "To Be A Cat" 2.  Maths challenges  (some great reasoning tasks!) 3. A wellbeing lesson about moving to high school. 

Remember there is also Flashback 4 arithmetic, spelling lists, short comprehensions and a chapter by chapter set of activities for The Julian Chapter. Do as much or as little as you need - it is there IF and WHEN you need it. 

TODAY'S ACTIVITES

Maths - Click link to take you to White Rose Maths Home Learning. We are looking at Summer Term Week 1 Lesson 2 - Angles In A Triangle. Watch the video on the website then have a go at the activities. Question 1 (if you have a protractor ALL CHILDREN CAN DO) Questions 2-4 (MOST CHILDREN CAN DO) Question 5-6 (SOME CHILDREN CAN DO)  

These websites are still available to practice all things to do with measuring angles etc. - Maths Playground , Maths Is Fun , CrickWeb , Maths Zone.

English - Ambiguous Headlines!!. You may also need to look at the Punctuation PowerPoint. The first page of the PDF guides you through the extracts, video links and activites - the other pages are extracts, notes, guides, questions etc. to help you through the session. Do as much or as little as you wish - there is plenty to keep you busy. 

Daily Reading - Sabryna and The River Spirit Part 4. There is an eBook to read, a tutorial which you can access by clicking the name of the book above and a set of questions and activities to have a go at. There is also extra activity sheets about homophones. 

Art - Drawing Feathers - Have a look at PowerPoint then look at some of the example pictures then have a chilled sketching session to end the week.
