Short Comprehensions
UPDATED 2nd April
These are a set of short comprehensions that follow the VIPERS format - we were going to use these as revision in the run up to SATs but you may find them useful to complete at any time.
V - vocabulary (Victor Vocabulary)
I - Inference (Iggy Inference)
P - predictions (Predicting Pip)
E - explain (Arlo the Author and Cassie the Commentator)
R - retrieve (Rex Retriever)
S - Summarise/Order key events (Summarising Sheba)
I've also linked the reading objectives so you can see how they fit together. There is also a Reading Comprehension Guidance page as Twinkl use dogs (seen in brackets above) to represent each aspect of VIPERS!
