Today's activities are listed below - if you wish to use them. Activities from all other days are still available if you want to refer back to them or complete any that you may have missed.

There are many other activities avaliable in Daily Timetable Ideas and Home Learning/School Closure sections of the website if you wish to use those as well as or instead of these.

Remember there is also Flashback 4 arithmetic, spelling lists, short comprehensions and a chapter by chapter set of activities for The Julian Chapter. Do as much or as little as you need - it is there IF and WHEN you need it. 

TODAY'S ACTIVITES

Maths - Click link to take you to White Rose Maths Home Learning. We are looking at Week 2 Lesson 3 - Measuring with protractor. Watch the video on the website then have a go at the activities. Questions 1-2(ALL CHILDREN CAN DO) Questions 3-4 (MOST CHILDREN CAN DO)  Question 5 (SOME CHILDREN CAN DO)

If you don't have a protractor then try these websites to practice measuring angles instead - Maths Playground , Maths Is Fun , CrickWeb , Maths Zone.

English - The Highwayman Day 1. A Powerpoint performance of the poem can be downloaded also. The first page of the PDF guides you through the extracts, video links and activites - the other pages are extracts, notes, guides, questions etc. to help you through the session. Do as much or as little as you wish - there is plenty to keep you busy. 

English - Daily News - a short reading comprehension about Captain Tom Moore

English - complete a short diary entry. Focus on feelings, emotions etc during these strange times. 

History - The early Islamic Civilisation - Lesson 3 - Discovery and Learning. Look at the PowerPoint and then have a go at the activites about medicines, treatments and inventions. 

Remember to date all your work. Hope you are all well.
